Professor at the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences of the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. Degree in Mathematics and PhD in Economics and Business Administration. She is a member of the DiMatMad research group. Currently, her teaching is oriented to the Degrees of Early Childhood and Primary Education and to the Master of Teacher Training, in the subject Didactics of Mathematics. Her current lines of research focus on the development and analysis of indicators to measure the quality of Higher Education and the application of active teaching methodologies for the achievement of educational innovations at different levels of training.

The School of Mining and Energy Engineering is the teaching center of the University of Vigo that offers undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Mining and Energy Resources Engineering, formerly Mining Engineering, and Energy Engineering.
The current building of the School of Mining and Energy Engineering and its facilities are of recent construction (completed and inaugurated in 2005). The architectural project was designed to centralize in it various services shared with other schools, such as the library, reprographics, dining room and administrative units. The style of the building has a clear industrial character and covers an area of about 9,000 square meters, distributed in modules to adapt to the complicated orography.
